thanks a lot for the fav and feedback. I really appreciate it.

Looking back at this piece, there are some thing I'd still want to do better.

All the same, the background is 98.9% gradient, using light gray, dark gray and black to get three different tones. The only bit which is a texture is the top middle white bit.

apart from that, everything else like i said is just gradient, and also, manually painted the shadows under shape and blended it on the background to give it the effect it has.

everything was done in Photoshop.

Awesome! But LG actually manufactures the monitors on Macs, so my PC art monitor by LG is just as good. So your recommendation is kinda pointless there. :P

That's nice to hear. What kind of work do you do?

I looked at the website above, it's very nice. I like the artwork that's on it. I'm very impressed by the 3D skills. I can't wait to start with my game semester at school. I will learn how to make things in 3D too, while I'm also working on a game with my class.

I've never heard of JD Fashion, but I checked out the website and what they offer looks very nice. They have a lot of brands.

I'm studying Communication & Multimedia Design. I'm going to start with my second year on august the 31th. For this year and next year we had to choose our own courses. I picked 3 courses named CRIA (Create Rich Internet Application), CICA (Create Interactive Content Application and GAME (that's where I will learn to work with 3D).

fresh, vibrant and yet a little dark flair. i like it. how the colorful, happy style that starts on the left evolves into a more reduced, more dark color scheme without changing the style at all... just great. and how both sides keep reflecting certain colors and form of it opponent. although the title says so, this doesn’t devide the world into black & white, it keeps showing the shades of grey and color involved. want to see more of that, man :)

btw: featured it here [link]
